Celebrating International Literacy Day with Young Learners in Jigawa

On September 11th, 2025, the DIZAUREGI TEAM joined the global celebration of International Literacy Day with an engaging outreach at Kuho 744 Primary School, Jigawa State.

The day was filled with fun, learning, and inspiration as pupils participated in a quiz competition and a lively spelling bee. These activities were designed to spark curiosity, boost confidence, and strengthen literacy skills among the children.

For us at Dizauregi Support Foundation, literacy goes beyond reading and writing — it is the foundation for building brighter futures. By encouraging children to embrace learning in enjoyable ways, we aim to nurture creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love for knowledge.

The smiles, excitement, and determination on the faces of the pupils at Kuho 744 Primary School remind us why we remain committed to our mission: supporting education, empowering communities, and shaping tomorrow’s leaders.

We are grateful to the school community for welcoming us and to everyone who continues to support our literacy and education programs. Together, we can ensure that no child is left behind in the journey of learning.
