At the Dizauregi Support Foundation, we believe that good health is the foundation of a stronger, happier community. On 11th September, 2025 at Unguwa Tsohuwar Tasha in Bichi Local Government Area, Kano State, we had the privilege of putting this belief into action through a community medical outreach.
The atmosphere was filled with anticipation as men and women from the community gathered. By the end of the day, 67 people—both young and old—had received the care they needed. For many, it was not just about medical attention, but also about being seen, heard, and supported.
Our dedicated team provided:
- Eye clinic consultations to help restore clearer vision.
- Diabetes testing and medications for better management of the condition.
- High blood pressure checks and treatment to prevent serious health risks.
- Guidance on everyday wellness to help participants take control of their health.
Each smile, each word of gratitude, and each sigh of relief reminded us why we do what we do. For some, this was their first opportunity in a long while to access professional medical care. For others, it was the reassurance that they are not alone in their journey toward better health.
This outreach was more than just a medical exercise—it was a moment of hope, care, and connection. It reaffirmed our commitment to stand with communities and make healthcare accessible, one step at a time.
We are deeply grateful to our medical team, volunteers, and the local community leaders who made this outreach possible. Together, we are building healthier communities, and together, we will continue to make a difference.
