About Us

FOUNDATION BACKGROUND

Who We Are

At DIZAUREGI Support Foundation, we believe that education and health are the cornerstones of a better future. Founded with a passion for change, our organization is dedicated to supporting less privileged children and vulnerable women across Nigeria by providing access to education, healthcare, and empowerment opportunities.

We understand the challenges faced by marginalized communities — from children unable to afford school fees to women without access to basic healthcare and skills for self-reliance. Our mission is to bridge these gaps by offering scholarships, promoting health awareness, and creating pathways for empowerment through skill development and community engagement.

We aim to create a lasting change in the lives of less privileged children and vulnerable women, and to promote a society where every individual has access to quality education and healthcare.

The Birth of Dizauregi Support Foundation

It all began in 2018, when I started a small spices business from the comfort of my home/kitchen. As the business grew, I realized I needed extra help and hired an ad hoc staff, a widow with children who was eager to support her family. One day, she came to work with her daughter, who should have been in school but wasn’t due to unpaid school fees of just ₦5,000. I was heartbroken and couldn’t believe that such a small amount of money could stand in the way of a child’s education.

Despite my business being small, I knew I had to help. I decided to support the girl’s education, and soon organized a school program where I raised awareness about the importance of girl-child education, taught them about hygiene, and distributed sanitary pads. This small act of kindness sparked a passion within me to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and women.

And so, Dizauregi Support Foundation was born. Since then, we have continued to work tirelessly to empower less privileged children and women, providing them with access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. Our journey may have started small, but our vision is big: to create a society where every individual has the chance to thrive and reach their full potential.

Each year from the support of the business, family and friends we have been able to carry out several projects on health initiatives, educational support programs, adopting vulnerable children/orphans to pay their tuition fees from primary to secondary education and Advocacy programs. Over 1000 lives have been touched. I’m proud to share this story with you, and I hope it inspires you to join us in our mission to make a difference.
